Remote work.<\/span> Call it telecommuting, work outside the office, or some other term, but that will not change the fact that it is one of the fastest-growing trends in the world today. And we’re not just talking about digital teams or IT employees. About half of the workers experience this once a week, and the trend is growing rapidly. Distance working is fast and intensively changing the way we do business.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

What Is Telemediated Work?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

So what do we mean when we say \u201cremote work\u201d? Teleworking is a way of working outside of the traditional centralized workplace, usually using digital technology.<\/span><\/p>\n

If you work in the office, it doesn’t mean you are lucky by default. Let us convince you of this. We have conducted a small customer experience audit and collected a few examples and reasons why remote work is good, what are its advantages, and how to stay part of the team when working from home.<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Remote work is convenient. <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span> \n

    The opportunity to work remotely is very attractive to many employees. There are clear benefits, from better work-life balance to increased productivity. Telecommuters typically save on food, commuting, and other expenses they might have an attending office.<\/span>As a bonus, telecommuting allows employees to spend more time with family and fluffy friends! \ud83d\udc36\ud83d\ude3a<\/span><\/li>\n

  2. Remote work is NOT less work. <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span> \n

    You might have thought that your workload might be reduced if you work outside the office. However, this is far from the case. And what is more likely \u2014 quite the contrary. In addition to your main tasks, you will also have to create and enter the tables, fill out reports, and actively communicate via messengers.   3. Remote work is communication via messengers. <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\"\"\n

    The \u201chuman communication\u201d factor is a constant topic of complaints about remote work. When working remotely, it is even more important to keep in touch with your team and create a strong remote culture. Therefore, it is very important to use messengers for communication such as Skype, WhatsApp, Zoom, and others. You can create a group and team chats, chats with your direct team members, project chats. This is very convenient if you need to urgently resolve an important issue.<\/li>\n

  4. Remote work is the same teamwork, but outside the office. <\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span>\"\"\n

    When you work from home, you should realize that you must remain part of the team. How to do it? Share photos, get in touch for web parties, tell the latest news in your groups.<\/span>How to stay a part of the company? Complete your tasks on time, keep records in CRM or other systems, help your colleagues, be important and irreplaceable!<\/span><\/li>\n
